April Pintos of the Month Are Royals Oaks Kid Rock and Staring My Boy Toy

The Banixx Pinto of the Month for April is Royal Oaks Kid Rock, owned by Jenny La Grange of Oviedo, Florida. Royal Oaks Kid Rock, better known as Kid, is a miniature gelding. La Grange said his personality is like the Energizer Bunny.

La Grange has been showing horses since she was two years old. Now, she competes in Florida Pinto shows, and she has also attended the 2015 Pinto World Championship®. Owning Kid since 2014, La Grange competes in an array of classes. La Grange’s favorite class to compete in with Kid is In Hand Trail, while Kid’s favorite class is Over Fences.

The Banixx Solid Pinto of the Month for April is Staring My Boy Toy, owned by Danea Snavely of Mill Hall, Pennsylvania.

Staring My Boy Toy, better known as Fabio, is a hunter type gelding. Fabio’s favorite treats are Swedish Fish and Granny Smith apples.

Snavely has been showing horses for over 12 years but has only had Fabio for a little over one year. The duo competes in local PtHA® shows in Syracuse, New York. Their favorite classes to compete in are Working Hunter and Hunter Hack.

“Fabio lives up to his namesake,” Snavely said. “He has a big personality and loves attention.”

Every month, PtHA® will randomly select a solid registry Pinto and a color registry Pinto for the Banixx Horse of the Month to be featured in a monthly PtHA® eblast and on the official Pinto Facebook page.
