MOSCOW, IDAHO — By an unanimous vote, the ApHC Board of Directors voted to significantly reduce late entry fees for the upcoming World Championship and Youth World Championship Appaloosa Shows in Fort Worth, Texas. The show will run from October 29 – November 8.
There will be a flat $25 late fee for both open and non-pro classes, while all late fees for youth classes are being waived. This represents a significant savings from the already-discounted late fees of $60 (open), $50 (non-pro) and $35 (youth).
“Because of COVID-19, this has been a very difficult year for many of our members,” said ApHC President Ken Johnson. “But by taking this action, we believe it will be a win-win for everyone. We’re also hopeful that even more of our members will now be able to attend.”
Johnson added that early entries, which closed last week, were especially strong.
“From all indications, both the number of horses and participants will surpass last year’s show,” Johnson continued. “I want to assure everyone that we are taking every possible precaution to protect the health and safety of everyone in attendance. We’re looking forward to hosting a terrific show.”
