We are deeply saddened to relay the news that He’s Suddenly Famous, an AQHA/APHA sire of multiple point earning show horses, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic trailer accident on Friday, May 23rd. He’s Suddenly Famous was a 1998 chestnut overo stallion by A Sudden Impulse (AQHA) and out of Fame My Brick (AQHA).
A two-time Reserve APHA World Champion in his own right, with Russ Mitchell and Barron Knaus in the saddle, “Famous” was a producer of multiple APHA and PtHA Champions. One of his most successful offspring was I’m Suddenly Famous, owned by Terry Lacoste.
Beloved by his family and fans, past owner J.R. Reichert and current owners, George and Rebecca Maurer, mourn the loss of this talented individual.
“Famous will be missed by all individuals who were associated with him and owned and showed his offspring,” Rebecca Maurer says.
Our sincerest condolences go out to the Maurer family during this difficult time.
