The American Paint Horse Association is pleased to welcome Suzanne C. Radcliff as the new counselor at law for the association.

Suzanne works as the office managing partner vice chair for the Cozen O’Connor firm’s Dallas, Texas, office. The firm specializes in business law, litigation and government relations. She brings years of experience in equine law, and she regularly writes about the topic at Subrogation & Recovery Law Blog.

The Oklahoma native received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1997, where she played on the school’s polo team. She earned her law degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 2000.

As a life-long rider and horse enthusiast, Suzanne will bring a fresh perspective to APHA. Suzanne fills the duties held for 22 years by Frank Cain, a Fort Worth attorney.

“Suzanne’s experience both in law and the equine industry will provide a fresh perspective for the association,” APHA Executive Director Billy Smith said. “I look forward to working with her to further the goals of APHA, the Paint Horse breed and, mostly, the members of this association.”

Suzanne plans to kick off her tenure with APHA by attending the APHA World Championship Show, November 6–16 in Fort Worth, Texas, to meet and get to know the members.
