APHA and Breeders Halter Futurity Join to Offer $20,000 Bonus For Horses Competing at Both Events

The Board of Directors of the Breeders Halter Futurity is excited to announce a partnership with the American Paint Horse Association. In 2016, an additional bonus will be paid to weanling foals that show at the Breeders Halter Futurity in Des Moines, Iowa and also show in one of the following Amateur Weanling Halter Classes at the APHA World Show:
- Amateur Weanling Colts
- Amateur Weanling Mares
- Amateur Weanling Geldings
- Amateur SPB Weanling Colts and Geldings
- Amateur SPB Weanling Mares
The additional $20,000 bonus, contributed equally by the APHA and BHF, will be paid at the APHA World Show and will be based on your placings there. The exact payout distribution will be announced at a later date.
The Breeders Halter Futurity takes place September 8-11, 2016 in Des Moines, Iowa. The APHA World Show takes place November 2-12, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas.
