For those who watch the Super Bowl for the commercials as much as the game itself, there were plenty of entertaining spots to fill the four quarters of action during last night’s celebration. Topics ranged from the hilarious (Doritos- Ultrasound) and truly absurd (Mountain Dew’s Puppy/Monkey/Baby) to topics more thought-provoking like drunk driving, water conservation, and even domestic violence.
Like in the past, commercials featuring animals received the most praise from fans. While many of us were looking forward to another heartwarming ad from Budweiser featuring the iconic Clydesdales and perhaps an adorable Labrador puppy, the company took a decidedly more urban approach with their #NotBackingDown campaign. However, there was another commercial that starred a horse. Bai Antioxidant Infusion Drinks’ “Horse Whisperer” was a local spot that aired in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. Don’t worry if you’re a bit confused. Apparently, the ad isn’t supposed to make sense. That follows with the product’s tagline, “5 calories, antioxidants, and tastes great. None of this makes sense.”
Still, it did feature a beautiful, white stallion with some pretty fancy moves…
Whether you liked this horse commercial or not, there were plenty others that featured animals as well. Scroll below to check them out.
