Alex Odle is Newest Face of Kimes Ranch Jeans

15337653_1848347678775574_5776292041838987216_nSCOTTSDALE, AZ—With much success in previous years, Kimes Ranch ran its 2017 Sponsorship contest. Through rigorous selection and fan voting, Alex Odle emerged the winner and the newest face of Kimes Ranch Jeans.

Odle is a freshman at South Plains College in Lleveland, Texas where she competes in the collegiate rodeo southwest region in barrel racing, breakaway roping, and team roping. She first learned of the contest through social media and was encouraged by her mother to enter.

Odle admits, “When I heard I won, I was so excited. I still am! I was so anxious from the time I was chosen as top 15 until the moment I found out I had won.”

Odle grew up in the ranching community of Brush, Colorado. Though her family has always been involved in agriculture and horses, it was an elementary school friend that turned Odle rodeo.

“My first couple years of rodeo weren’t the most successful winning wise,” explains Odle, “but I gained so much more than I ever would have if I would have won right from the start. Those are the years I am most thankful for because now I know how to be a humble competitor.”

And a competitor, she is! Odle was crowned the 2016 National High School Rodeo Barrel Racing Champion this past summer. Her other accomplishments include 2016 Colorado State High School Rodeo (CSHSR) Pole Bending and Barrel Racing Champion, 2015 CSHSR Barrel Racing Champion, 2015 International Finals Youth Rodeo Pole Bending Champion, and 2014 CSHSR Pole Bending Champion.

Kimes Ranch continues to reach new heights in Western fashion, partly because of the support they have in their sponsorship program. Endorsees are called “family” because of their close relationship with the company and the qualities each endorsee exudes.

Sponsorship Coordinator Lainey Smith explains, “We had so many talented athletes in the pool of applicants for this year’s sponsorship contest. It was really difficult to narrow it down to 15. Alex is such a fierce competitor, while possessing character and the family values we look for. We are honored to have her join the team!”

“Kimes Ranch gives anyone the tools to be simply stylish,” says Odle. “There is beauty in simplicity, and Kimes Ranch found a way to show that off.”

Welcome to the Kimes Ranch Jeans family, Alex Odle!
