UPDATE: AjPHA Novice Youth Hunter Under Saddle World Champions Are Amanda Nelson and Kimmy Shidler

UPDATE: Just moments ago, Kimmy Shidler claimed her second World Champion title of the day in 14-18 Hunter Under Saddle.

Today is all about english equestrians at the 2014 AjPHA Youth World Championship Show. On the schedule for today is a full slate of Hunter Under Saddle and Equitation classes.

The first two World Champions of the day were named in the 13 and under and 14-18 Novice Youth Hunter Under Saddle. Amanda Nelson piloted R Zippo Machine to a win in Novice Youth Hunter Under Saddle 13 and Under. Coming in Reserve was Kelsee Ireland with Sensationally Good. Third place was Caroline Nielson and Ima Gallant Mckenzie. Samantha Stubblefield and Im Zipped All Right scored a fourth place finish. Coming in fifth was Elizabeth Jacobs with Im Real Wicked.

Kimmy Shidler and BMQ The Jig Is Up took the top spot in Novice Youth Hunter Under Saddle 14-18. Coming in Reserve was Emma Lee Schellenburg with Chansation. McKenzie Verling rode The Boss Impulse to a third place finish. Fourth place was Madison Dunphy aboard Mr. Big Sensation. Rounding out the top five was Taylor Gibson with Mr Slow Ride.

Many of these riders will be returning for the regular division 13 and Under Hunter Under Saddle and 14-18 Hunter Under Saddle currently underway.
