The United Equestrian Conference has announced its November Riders of the Month, honoring top performances in each of the four disciplines.
Equitation Over Fences Rider of the Month: Emma Roberts, SMU
· Was a perfect 2-0 in Equitation Over Fences for the month of November with both of her victories coming away from home.
· Averaged a score of 77 over her two meets, coming against New Mexico State and South Dakota State.
· Won her two competitions by an average of 5.5 points.
Equitation On The Flat Rider of the Month: Sylvia de Toledo, SMU
· Posted a 2-0 record in Equitation On The Flat for the month of November with her two victories both coming away from home.
· Averaged a score of 82.5 for her two competitions and defeated her opponents by an average of 7.0 points.
· Earned MVP honors on the flat in helping her team defeat No. 10 New Mexico State.
Horsemanship Rider of the Month: Taylor Dixon, Fresno State
· Charted a 2-0 record in Horsemanship in the month of November, earning wins against opponents from nationally ranked Kansas State and Auburn.
· Earned a personal-best score of 75 against her opponent from Kansas State and garnered her first career MVP honor.
· Scored a 74 against Auburn to help her team defeat the Tigers, 9-8.
· Helped her Fresno State squad go 2-1 in the month of November with wins against a pair of top-six ranked foes.
Reining Rider of the Month: Megan Marie Foley, UT-Martin
· Posted a 2-0-1 record in Reining in the month of November, which included wins against Delaware State, South Dakota State and Minnesota-Crookston.
· In her two meets against NCEA Division I opponents, charted an average score of 75.25.
· Earned an MVP honor in her team’s win against South Dakota State.
· Both competitions against DI opponents came away from home.
· Helped her team to a 3-0 record in the month of November.
