OQHA Past President Charlie Menker Has Passed Away, Services to Take Place June 5-6

The Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Association is saddened to report the passing of past president of the Ohio Quarter Horse Association, Charlie Menker. Charlie has served on the Board of Directors, as a Past President, and as Congress Tri Chairman of the Ohio Quarter Horse Association.
Charlie was recognized by AQHA as a AQHA Honorary Vice President. He served many years as a ring steward at the Youth World Show. He was retired from Inland Mfg. but ran Rockin’ M Trailer Sales.
Charlie’s greatest accomplishment was being a husband, father and grandfather. He instilled his love of horses into his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by the horse industry.

“Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Friday, June 6, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church (1000 W. Wenger Rd., Englewood) with Father Jim Seibert, C.P.P.S. as celebrant. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). Interment will be at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the Charles H. & Judith A. Menker Youth Scholarship Fund (400 Union Blvd., Englewood, OH 45322) envelopes will be provided.”
