In case you missed any of the action, here’s a brief recap. The day was all about firsts for the DAP (Dumb Ass Partners) partnership that owns the powerful chestnut colt that crossed the finish line 1 3/4 lengths ahead of the field, California Chrome.
The group is hoping to achieve another first over the next few weeks. If California Chrome can accomplish the feat of winning the Triple Crown, he would become the first horse to do so since Affirmed in 1978. Will he do it? You’ll just have to stay tuned to see…
