2014 SOQHA Youth Show to Kick Off April 12 in Ohio, $3,750 Youth Scholarship Challenge

As a followup to the highly successful SOQHA Madness in March horse show that concluded recently in Wilmington, Ohio, the SOQHA will be hosting another event this weekend, the SOQHA Youth Show. The show will take place April 12-13 at the Roberts Arena in Ohio.
Judges for the event will be Chris Jones, Gretchen Mathes, Charlene Carter, and Will Knabenshue.
There will be plenty of special events at this show including the Youth Scholarship Challenge, a free competition that is being offered for any youth horse and rider combination.
Youth Scholarship Challenge Payouts:
14-18 High Point Champion: $1,000 Scholarship, Reserve: $500 Scholarship
13 & Under High Point Champion: $500 Scholarship, Reserve: $250 Scholarship
Novice Youth High Point Champion: $500 Scholarship, Reserve: $250 Scholarship
Small Fry High Point Champion: $500 Scholarship, Reserve: $250 Scholarship
If you plan to attend the show, be sure not to miss the Blind-folded Golf Cart Barrel Race that will take place Saturday evening following the conclusion of western pleasure classes. Participants will join in a calcutta to raise money for the SOQHA Youth club!
