HRTV (R), The Network for Horse Sports, will continue its mission to provide “horse sports” fans with outstanding programming when it debuts a new series, “Saddle Up!”
The half-hour shows covers an extended trail ride, the number one “horse sports” activity for equine owners in the U.S. Throughout the 13-week series viewers will experience one of the best wilderness areas in North America. Four riders, accustomed to a city environment, take part as they meet with different tour guides and hone riding skills while traversing through Banff National Park in Western Canada.
The quartet is enlightened as they delve deep into the Canadian mountains, through Brewster Creek and Allenby Pass in the heart of this picturesque national park, the oldest in Canada, allowing an up-close look at some spectacular venues. Viewers will also be able to take in the towering vistas of the Rocky Mountains, and the challenging trails that wend their way through alpine passes to arrive at nighttime campsites.
During their exploration, they not only came across a wide variety of wildlife, but also visit Sundance Lodge, the Cascade River, Rainbow Lake, and much more.
Each show features breathtaking views, crusty trail guides, and spirited horses. This combines magnificent trails with end-of-day bonfires, and unforgettable stories that stand the test of time.
