NCEA Student-Athletes Will Compete in AZ. Sun Circuit Shootout

Waco, Texas. – Eight collegiate equestrian reiners, including six from National Collegiate Equestrian Association institutions, will compete in the Sun Circuit Shootout on Sunday, Feb. 2 in Scottsdale, Ariz., it was announced Tuesday.

Eight institutions will send one rider each to participate in a reining competition presented by the Arizona Quarter Horse Association. The six participants from NCEA institutions include: Katherine Berg (Baylor), Taylor Brown (Fresno State), Layla Choate (South Carolina), Brynn Larson (New Mexico State); Darby Mailhot (Delaware State) and Raivenne Scott (South Dakota State).

The Sun Circuit Shootout featuring collegiate student-athletes is a new addition to Arizona Sun Circuit in 2014.
