EC Photo of the Day – Ashlynn Higelmire

This is Ashlynn Higelmire at the Level 1 East AQHA Championship Show in April 2024 in the 18 & Under Walk Trot Horsemanship.

“Having a horse is like having a 1200 lb. best friend always there to help you through anything,” explains her grandma, Valerie Dickinson, who says when Ashlynn’s dad passed away in 2017, grandma got her involved in horses.  “Best emotional support system you could ever ask for.”

This photo shows Ashlynn learning she got her first call back at the L1 East in 2024, her second year there.  “To say she was excited is an understatement. Love you, Ashlynn.  Love, Grandma.”
