From Kelley Wainscott:
Robie Herman went home to be with his Savior, last night on the day the Lord brought him into this world 48 years prior. He was surrounded by the full love of his amazing family yesterday all the way until he finished his race here on earth. For 14 months, he waged an extraordinary battle and throughout his battle he continued inspiring and uplifting all he encountered with his unwavering optimism, his strength and love. Robie was also courageous in sharing his own testimony with others and truly walking the walk in the toughest of circumstances with more grace and dignity than I have ever witnessed.
Robie was an extraordinary man, husband, father, son, brother, friend, Orthodontist and cowboy. He’s left an indelible mark on the hearts of Adam, myself, and countless others. Robie, you fulfilled all the Lord ever could have asked of you in half the time it takes most others to come close to what you accomplished with twice your years on earth.
Robie’s excellence, selflessness, drive, integrity, compassion, and generosity have forever impacted so many of us, ensuring his legacy will transcend his time here, and leave each of us changed. And much better for having known him.
His remarkable family is what he was the most proud of always and his time with us here WILL live on through his completely dedicated wife, Krista Herman, his amazing, brave and loving children, Caroline, Jack, and Ella Kate, his parents Bruce and Donna Herman, his sister, Kodi Yorman, and beloved brother. Please pray for strength, peace and comfort for each of them.
Adam and I will forever be grateful for our years of the best memories with our friend who simply made us better, happier, more inspired and stronger humans. We will miss you, Robie, and never forget your impact on each of us!!! Now ride every best one and raise the most beautiful horses in Heaven!!
