Rita Crundwell’s Name on List of People Granted Clemency
According to WGN-TV of Chicago, Rita Crundwell, who stole $54million from the city of Dixon, is on Biden’s clemency list.
The largest clemency act of any president isn’t sitting well with the residents of Dixon, where Crundwell committed her 20-year fraud that comprised the largest municipal heist in U.S. history.
Rita Crundwell has been on home monitoring since 2021, and news reports say this means she won’t be going back to jail.
