Muncie, Indiana – Super Sires continues to impact the “Show Horse” world by constructing innovative programs that create a profitable economic impact for all stallion owners, mare owners and exhibitors equally. In 2024 alone, Super Sires will distribute over $225,000 in cash and prizes throughout the country, with over $1.2 Million since the inception of Super Sires, a Not for Profit, 501 C5 program that was introduced in 2013.
In 2024, Super Sires Executive Committee approached Mike and Stephanie Jennings of Professional Horse Services, for their expertise in the “Show Horse” Sale industry. With conversations over several conference calls, decisions were made regarding improvement for the sellers, as well as buyers of Super Sires offspring and mares bred to Super Sires stallions in the annual Markel Super Sires Online Auction.
NEW • The 2024 Markel Super Sires Online Auction format has been expanded to offer a marketplace for horses of all ages sired by Super Sires stallions, as well as broodmares in foal to Super Sires stallions.
Super Sires first great decision was to come into partnership with Mike and Stephanie Jennings. Mike and Stephanie align with the goals of Super Sires Executive Committee which are to serve the “Show Horse” industry in an honest and transparent way while driving to produce a sale platform that will create economic value for the breeders throughout the country.
With that being said, Professional Horse Services will host the 2024 Markel Super Sires Online Auction in which horses that are consigned will be entered in the sale to promote and sell, with a world-wide online audience, from November 16 – 19, 2024. Different than our past online sales, there will be no buyers premium incentives; we strive to assist our breeders to market their Super Sires offspring in a well-respected platform with transparency to the buyer.

Super Sires continues to pursue avenues that benefit the show horse world including stallion owners, breeders, trainers, and exhibitors! Super Sires is serious about adding LTE $$$ to sire, dam, offspring and rider’s earnings/resumes…all monies earned at Super Sires events are reported to QData, NSBA and Equistat, which accurately record Life-Time Earnings (LTE) of your stallion, your mare, your offspring as well as you, the exhibitor. The value of growing documented dollars will in turn increase breeding fee and sales value to your horse, as well as speak of a rider’s resume as the LTE’s grow!
