This is the very first AQHYA World Show for Gwen Toth, an 11-year-old from Ohio who set a serious goal – to make the finals. She was so sincere about her aspirations, she gave up showing at the All American Quarter Horse Congress this year just so they could come here to Oklahoma City.
It’s also the first time at the World Show for her 21-year-old mare, Starched Rockies, but you wouldn’t know it from watching them show together. By the end of Monday, August 5th, Gwen had racked up a total of four World Show titles between her mare and her gelding, N A Heartbeat.
