We are sad to say Splash went to greener pastures on 7/10/2023.

Splash was loved by so many people, too many to name or know them all. He was a great one! He always was full of personality and character. He loved to sound the “food alarm” at feeding time, and always the first one to greet you at the gate. He lived out his retirement in a full double stall and a pasture with a couple of broodmares that he loved to spend time with.

We were blessed to have the time with him that we did. I only got to show him a few times, but he was the ultimate show horse, and absolutely knew when it was show time! He was a total ham, knew when a camera was around, and loved his carrots, apples and cookies.

I’ve never had a horse that when people saw him at shows they wanted to take selfies with, that was a new one! Splash was a great one with so many fans. He was loved from the time he hit the ground, everyone always knew he was special.

Barbara G. Pruitt Hovik, thank you for your wonderful memories of Splash as a young horse!

Also special thank you to Kris LaFoe, Yo Strange, and Grace S Owen for all your help.
