“Family is not an important thing. It’s everything.” – Michael J. Fox once said, and those words couldn’t be truer for Vanessa Froman and Collin Froman, the mother and son who have both taken their family upbringing in the horse industry to heart.
Denny and Diane Kliemchen, Vanessa’s parents, met at a horse show in 1967 and then married in 1970, raising both their girls on a family farm in Sawyer, Michigan. Vanessa explains her parents focused on giving them a meaningful life and pushing them to pursue their educations and careers.
“Like most kids, I didn’t truly comprehend what they did for us until I went to college and started working to pay my own bills. Since then, I’ve done all I can to try and give back and help repay them for all they did for me and now my boys,” says Vanessa.
Vanessa carried on the family tradition, sharing the love of horses with her family, and now both Vanessa and Collin are well-known in the APHA and AQHA industry for their successes, along with Vanessa’s role as a Magazine Sales Representative.
