Every year the Dixie Nationals Quarter Horse Show celebrates and hosts the Mary Hopkins Memorial Equestrians with Disabilities AQHA Show, an EWD show sponsored by the Mississippi Youth Quarter Horse Youth Association.
The show just marked its 23rd year, on February 7-8, 2023, with 4 AQHA Shows and no entry fees, no stall fees, and no pre-entry required, all due to the Mississippi Quarter Horse Youth Association and many volunteers.
All four judges, Tom McBeath, Shawn Hays, Clay Cavinder, Chele McGauly, donated their services for the event, as did the show coordinator, announcers, show secretary and many more who made the show run like clockwork.
This show offers 4 sets of AQHA points, 4 sets of NSBA points, and 4 sets of PHBA points and the overall winner in each class receives a Dixie National jacket.
Thank you to show secretary Diane Gage for the complete results, and to Sally Blackwell Photography for all the amazing photos!
