Team Wrangler, a joint effort between Wrangler and the American Quarter Horse Association, promotes educational outreach for the horse industry. The 2021 team is as versatile as the American Quarter Horse, comprising top AQHA Professional Horsemen from across disciplines – from halter to all-around and roping to racing. This year, AQHA Team Wrangler will carryover from the 2019-2020 team.

The team is comprised of professional horsemen selected through one of the following criteria:

Top point earners category where the top individual in the six categories of halter, pattern, timed events, over fences, rail and cattle from the 2018 and 2019 world show qualifying period were selected for the team.

Most Valuable Professional selection where six professionals were chosen by the Professional Horsemen’s Council from the pool of Most Valuable Professionals nominated by each affiliate between 2018-2019.

Together, they are the 24-member Team Wrangler, which will promote the American Quarter Horse throughout 2021.
