Sandra Morgan’s daughter, Saige, has a cognitive disability that prevents her from remembering and speaking clearly, but that didn’t stop trainer, Robin Biebuyck, from making Saige’s dreams of showing horses come true. “Robin took my daughter under her wing and found her more opportunities to compete than we could have ever dreamed.”

Several years ago, Sandra and Saige were searching for a way to help Saige ride horses. “Local show trainers would get frustrated with her lack of progress. Nearby therapeutic riding centers weren’t adaptable to advanced riders with aspirations of competition. We were desperate for a trainer.”

“Like a Godsend, a friend led us to trainer, Robin Biebuyck,” Sandra Morgan remarked.

While not having had much experience with disability, Robin found ways to teach. She broke down her lessons into simple, easy steps. Robin made laminated study guides for frequent referrals and spoke slowly. “She was kind but demanded focus and hard work. Above all, she remained positive and fed the fire my daughter had for being a champion,” Sandra said. Trainer, Robin Biebuyck is a woman of integrity, drive, and kindness.

“Big dreams are hard work and a long road. There isn’t a single thing better in this world, disability or not, than someone who cares about you standing strong in your corner. They change your world, as Robin does.”
