Hosting a horse show during these uncertain times is daunting in and of itself, but try launching a brand new horse show during a global pandemic. Still, it has been proven, time and time again, that if you build it, they will come. AQHA and APHA competitors did just that at the first annual Big Country Quarter Horse Association Pumpjack Circuit over the weekend, July 15-19 in Abilene, Texas.

The unique show format included four AQHA shows and four APHA shows, making this a true multi-breed event, as well as the popular Texas Quarter Horse Association Novice Saddle Series. Judges were Chele McGauley, Sandy Jirkovsky, Tanya Green, and Chris Jeter.

Check out some of these numbers from the inaugural event!
