This year’s AQHA Youth World Show is the biggest in the event’s history, and there are 308 exhibitors competing for the first time! We decided to chat with a few World Show newbies to uncover the excitement, nerves, and anticipation that come with competing at your first Youth World.
We spoke with Mikayla Gaunt, who is here all the way from Australia, showing BMQ Show Me The Mony. She just finished competing in the L2 Showmanship preliminaries with 158 entries. Not only is this her first Youth World; it’s her first time in the U.S.!
