Palm Equestrian Academy Will Host 5th Annual Series of Competitions at Fox Grove- Trail Challenge, Agility, Dressage, Ranch Riding

Filed under: Health & Training |

Lynn Palm with AQHA Dressage Stallion Larks Home Run.

Fox Grove Farm is a beautiful facility conveniently located in the heart of Ocala, FL’s horse country. The Farm boasts a 2.5 acre enclosed natural obstacle course, grand prix grass dressage arena and 90’ x 210’ covered arena. It was home to the 2015-2018 series of Trail Challenges and Dressage Shows beginning in March and concluding in December with High Point Awards. After much success, the series will continue in 2019 with the addition of Ranch Riding Events and a Saddle for the Overall High Score Horse and Rider combination in all 3 events.

Trail Challenge competitions consist of 4 levels including Training, Intermediate, Master and Elite. Those levels are for Youth and Adult with all breeds of horses. By popular demand, the Agility Class remained for those in hand participants and Leadline was added for the youngest riders. Dressage shows are qualified for Western Dressage Association of Florida Year End Awards and are recognized for WDAA Lifetime Awards Program. Each show offers tests from Introductory Level to Level 4 with a Traditional English Dressage Test of Choice. New in 2019, Ranch Riding will be added to the lineup in March.

Fantastic prizes including High Point and Reserve High Point Trophies, Molly’s Custom Silver Buckles, SmartPak gift certificates, monogrammed blankets and gear bags are presented during the series end awards dinner in December hosted by Lynn Palm and Cyril Pittion-Rossillon. And 2019 will award its first ever saddle winner.

Like all Palm Equestrian Academy clinics and events, the Trail Challenges and Western Dressage Shows are open to all breeds of horses and levels of riders. For participants, convenient, on-site lodging and stabling is available on first come reservation basis. Spectators are welcome to cheer on their favorites or just learn what the events are all about. Coaching by Palm and Pittion-Rossillon is available for a limited number of competitors prior to and during each of the events.

Details of the competition series can be found on the Calendar of Events at www.lynnpalm.com/calendar.htm.  To join the 2019 sponsorship team alongside SmartPak, Three Does Ranch, Three Oaks Ranch, Springhill Equine, Palm Equestrian Academy and many others contact Marie-Frances Davis at generalinfo@lynnpalm.com.

Mark the calendars with 2019 competition dates: February 17, March 24, October TBD and December 7.
