Auburn Equestrian Remains at Top of NCEA Rankings, SMU Moves to #2

WACO, Texas – The National Collegiate Equestrian Association on Tuesday announced the latest Farnam Team Rankings for collegiate equestrian, as determined by the NCEA Selection Committee.

No. 1 Auburn remains at the top of this week’s Farnam Team Rankings.  Auburn has not moved from the No. 1 position all season.

Moving up to No. 2 this week is SMU.  The Mustangs are back in action after a bye week against No. 6 TCU this Friday, November 9. Texas A&M drops down to No. 3 following a road loss against No. 1 Auburn last week.

Baylor, South Carolina and TCU are the No. 4, 5 and 6 teams this week. Georgia remains at No. 7 in the coach’s poll. The Bulldogs resume action this Friday against No. 1 Auburn in Bishop, Georgia. No. 8, 9, and 10 go to Oklahoma State, Delaware State and Fresno State this week.

An action packed NCEA weekend ahead with the Fresno State Invitational happening on Friday, November 9, and Saturday, November 10. No. 10 Fresno State, No. 4 Baylor and No. 5 South Carolina have a tri-meet competition in Fresno, California. Additionally, No. 1 Auburn travels to No. 7 Georgia for an SEC matchup, No. 6 TCU heads to No. 2 SMU, and West Texas A&M travels to No. 8 Oklahoma State.
