Around the Ring Photos and Results from 2018 Bellringer Circuit

AQHA competitors gathered in Denver, Colorado, recently for the 2018 Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse Association Bellringer Circuit February 20-25. Judges for February 20th were Jody Brainard and Andi Paul. Judges for February 21-23 were Sandy Curl and Betsy Tuckey. Judges for February 23-25 were Brad Kearns and Shawn Hays.

One of the highlights of the show, according to show photographer, Caryn Hill, was the “Second Chance to Win Raffle.”

“We had a great turnout and had so much fun with the ‘Second Chance to Win Raffle.’ This raffle was for those who did not place first under any judge. We had 55 items to give away, and it was very well received,” she says. “My mission, as photographer, for this show, was to showcase the reason why we show- the horse. Between the great High Point All Around awards, the raffle, and the good numbers showing, it was a great show for all. “

Another big incentive for youth competitors was the $500 scholarship up for grabs that was proved courtesy of Littleton Equine Medical Center. The scholarship was awarded to the Highest Placing Overall Youth, which was Lauren Elizabeth Weaber. She was also the 14-18 High Point Champion with her horse, Overdue To be Invited. The 13 and Under High Point Champion was Alexis Stucky with Prinzzipled Asset. The Novice Youth Champion was Brooke Jolstad with Im Good As It Gets.

The Amateur High Point Champion was Julie Jolstad with Betta Believe It. The Select Champion was Steven Rissman with Starring Mr Hoyt. The Novice Amateur Champion was Kristina Rothers with The Bar Made Me Lazy.
