Parrish/Pistol Packin Mann, Wilson/Wisel Y Lopin Win Final Little Futurity Slot Classes; Complete Day 2 Results

The Little Futurity wrapped up last night in Raleigh, North Carolina with two, final, slot classes with a combined total of $15,000 in added money. First up, the Winehurst $10,000 Limited Horse Western Pleasure saw six entries. The winner of the class was Bret Parrish with Pistol Packin Mann for owner Richard Baumann. The pair received $2,331 for their efforts.

The Reserve Champion was Aaron Moses with To Cool To Be Hot for Starland Ranch, LLC. This team received $1,813. Third place was Ashley Lakins with Real Hot N Spicey for Scott and Linda Berwick, winning $1,036. Fourth place was Jason English with James Deen Daydream for Kari Craft. Fifth place was Taft Dickerson with Mug Shott for Karen Carter. Sixth place was Jonathan Meilleur with Thepartysgettinghot for Dr. Ted Filandrianos.

FullSizeRThe final slot class of the horse show was the Non Pro 3 and Over $7,500 Western Pleasure slot class with seven entries. Winning the class was Whitney Wilson with Wisel Y Lopin, winning $3,808. The Reserve Champion was Kari Craft with James Deen Daydream, winning $3,024. Tieing for third place was Courtney Ament with Crank Up The Heat, winning $1,680 and Katie Jo Jones with RV Wonit Lopin Lazy, winning $1,680. Fifth place was Becky Galyean with No Doubt My Maria, winning $1,008. Sixth place was Dr. Ted Filandrianos with Thepartysgettinghot. Seventh place was Michael Tidwell with Two Legit To Quit.

Other winners during day 2 included Sarah Nimigan with Al Wayz On Your Mind in the Open Novice Horse Hunter Under Saddle. Winning the 3-Year-Old Limited Open Hunter Under Saddle was Tami Thurston with For Your Protection for Christopher Ringer. Whitney Wilson rode Wisel Y Lopin to win the Maturity Limited Non Pro Western Pleasure. Hannah Cook rode Naturally Lazy to win Youth Western Pleasure. Kaitlin Leblanc rode KM Custom Made Best to win the 3-Year-Old Limited Open Western Pleasure for Masterson Farms, LLC. Melissa Wilkes and VS Code Me Lucky won the Maturity Non Pro Intermediate Western Pleasure. Dustin Millsap rode Just a Creepin to win the Maturity Limited Open Western Pleasure.
