SCOTTSDALE, AZ—Kimes Ranch Jeans proves its dominance in the Western world with outstanding performances by its “family” at the 2016 AQHA World Show. The horseman representing the horns in the show pen came away with 27 spots in the open finals and four world championships.

“We run our sponsorship program a little differently than most companies,” explains Sponsorship Coordinator Lainey Smith. “We consider our endorsees to be family, and we support them as such. They exude the family values that Kimes Ranch Jeans is built upon.”

The Kimes Ranch family walked away from Oklahoma City with World Championships in Sr. Hunter Under Saddle, earned by Leslie Lange, Sr. Barrel Racing, earned by the newly added family member Taylor Langdon, Sr. Heading, earned by Brad Lund, and Sr. Ranch Riding, earned by longtime KRJ Family member Debbie Cooper.

“Seeing all our ‘family’ have such great success brings such joy to Matt and me,” says Owner Amanda Kimes. “We still get emotional. There is something so special about it being the World Show and seeing our family win at this level. It is a very proud moment for us.”

Additionally, Chris Dawson rode the horns to a Reserve World Championship in the Jr. Working Cow Horse Division, while the Kimes Ranch Planning/Events Coordinator Tricia Sarchett won the World in the Amateur Ranch Riding.

Amanda says, “Seeing Trish (Tricia) win the Amateur Ranch Riding for the second consecutive year is thrilling. She works so hard in all areas of her life. The dedication and hard work payoff, both in the arena and in her daily life.”

Kimes Ranch Jeans continues to dominate the Quarter Horse world as they expand to other riding disciplines. The horns were first spotted in the professional rodeo arena at the 2016 National Finals Rodeo. Team Roping heeler Quinn Kesler and Rookie of the Year Barrel Racer Cayla Melby-Small found much success in early December wearing Kimes Ranch Jeans.

About Kimes Ranch Jeans: Founded in 2009, Kimes Ranch (formerly Longhorn Jean Company) was created to fill a void in the marketplace. With a long standing western history, Matt and Amanda Kimes’ desire was to create a company that produced great fitting, quality, long lasting jeans that walked the line between fashion-forward and western folk friendly.

The brand’s catchy logo and even more attractive company culture and customer service have brought them a cult-like following amongst their western consumers. The classically inspired line of jeans, have been featured in magazines including American Cowboy, Horse & Rider, Cowboys and Indians and Chrome Magazine.
