Over this past Labor Day weekend, the Henry Co. Fall Show and IQHA Futurity hosted AQHA competitors in the northeast for a fantastic four-judge show with a special event that was held in Newcastle, Indiana. Judges were Lora Knelly-Thomas, Clint Fullerton, Daren Wright, Manita McKool-Defoor, and Clay Cavinder.
In addition to $6,000 in NSBA futurities, the show also provided $5,500 added in futurity money. The $5,000 3 and Over Novice Horse Western Pleasure ended in a tie for first place between Ty Hornick and Rock In My Roll for owner Tammy Gagliardo, earning $2,875, and Brian Cox with Loping Radical for owner Allen and Marilyn Wade, earning $2,875. Placing third was Chris Jones with Fashion Figer for owner Laurie English.
A special congratulations from our The Equine Chronicle family goes to Jessica Baird and Shane Divine who were engaged at the show! And while wearing an Equine Chronicle hat no less!
