The 2016 FedEx St. Jude Classic kicks off tomorrow in Memphis, Tennessee and a few of our friends in the horse industry will have a front row seat for all of the action!
Ken and Marilyn Masterson of Masterson Farms, LLC are lucky enough to have the golf tournament in their own backyard. Their house sits just off the 12th hole, so be sure to keep a look out during television coverage that begins tomorrow and will conclude on Sunday! Ken was instrumental in the development of the FedEx Cup during its inception and has even given away the winner’s check in the past.
Tom LaMarre of The Sports Xchange has picked his choice for the winner, Dustin Johnson, who finished third in the Memorial Tournament last week. It will be his fourth time to compete in the Fed Ex St. Jude Classic.
Also on LaMarre’s list is someone with a connection to the horse industry, Colt Knost. Knost tied for third place in the recent Players Championship and tied for fourth in the Byron Nelson last month. This will be his fifth time competing in the tournament.
