Start making plans to attend the 2016 Merial AQHA Region Eight Championship! This exciting event is set for June 15-19 in Amarillo, Texas. If you need convincing, here are four reasons why you should attend:- Test your skills in a fun, rewarding environment. The Region Eight Championship offers a wide variety classes and levels, from equitation over fences to ranch riding and a whole bunch in between.
- Win great prizes! For first through third place, AQHA partners Montana Silversmiths, Professional’s Choice and Noble Outfitters will provide products in the eight core classes in Level 1 youth 13-&-under, Level 1 youth 14-18, Level 1 amateur and Select amateur.
- Add some awesome accolades to your horse’s record. Top-10 placings at Regional Championships appear on AQHA records. Wouldn’t you like to see “Region Eight Champion” listed next to your horse’s name?
- Qualify for the 2017 AQHA Level 1 Championships. A top-10 placing at a Regional Championship qualifies the rider on that particular horse. Learn more here.
If you intend to compete in cattle classes, the cattle entry deadline is June 1. All other entries must be postmarked by June 10, so head to www.mane-events.com today to download the schedule and entry form from the show manager.
Although you can only enter one Merial AQHA Regional Championship per year, you can enter any Regional Championship you choose. Check out this list of 2016 events for more information.
