More Awards, Hospitality and Novice Select Classes Added for 2016
Celebrating 49 years, the Iowa Show Circuit (ISC) kicks off on June 5th with a Novice Show followed by six AQHA shows June 6 – June 11 in Des Moines, Iowa. ISC is proud to have earned AQHA Top Ten Circuit status for the past four years!
In 2015, ISC added Novice Select Amateur Western Pleasure and Horsemanship. The popularity of those classes in the first year has led to adding two more Novice Select classes for 2016 – Trail and Showmanship. The Novice Select Amateur seems to be a growing segment at Quarter Horse shows and ISC shifts as our exhibitors change.
A couple of schedule changes – all Halter shows on Friday, June 10th and two days of Trail (split arena) on Monday and Thursday in the Jacobson Arena. ISC’s flat fee structure of $275 makes it easy as one fee covers all entries for the six AQHA shows and stall. No practice or warm up fees either!
IQHYA will help us kick off the show with a Welcome Dinner on Saturday night, and the hospitality continues through the week from longtime sponsor Equine Chronicle. Our Morning Wake Up Sponsors are Miya Childers/Dawning Performance Horses and Brickham QH LLC/Willybuptonogood.
