2016 Horseman’s Clinic- Feb. 6th- University of Illinois

We hope you’ll join us for the 2016 Horseman’s Clinic on February 6, 2016. The Horseman’s Clinic aims to increase education and awareness of all horse owners on basic and in-depth topics pertaining to a horse’s health maintenance and prevention of disease.
We’ll cover topics such as:
- Hoof care and common problems
- Neurological disease
- Barn air quality
- Rehabilitation
- Care of geriatric horses
- Colic
Demonstrations will be offered (for an additional $15 fee, each) and you’re also invited to tour the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. This year’s demonstrations include:
- Physical exam and administering medications
- Identifying lameness
- Bandaging techniques
- Vets in Training (learn the proper technique for leg bandaging, how to use an ultrasound, and other veterinary skills)
Early registration is $40 per person on or before January 24, 2016, and includes handout materials, continental breakfast, lunch, and breaks.
