FORT WORTH, TEXAS (May 23, 2024) – The 6666 Smokehouse Creek and Windy Deuce Fire Relief Benefit co-hosted by Taylor Sheridan and his Four Sixes Ranch and Ryan Bingham, in partnership with Hotel Drover, raised $1.5 million for the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Disaster Relief Fund benefitting ranchers affected by the largest wildfire event in Texas history. The star-studded benefit took place on Monday, May 6 at the Hotel Drover in Fort Worth and featured a show-stopping performance by Grammy-winning artist Ryan Bingham. TSCRA extends heartfelt gratitude to the generous donors, sponsors and supporters whose unwavering commitment made this incredible donation possible.
Presenting sponsors of the benefit included Ariat, Bingham’s Bourbon, Cinch, Encore Global, Hotel Drover, J5 Brands, Kubota and Tito’s Vodka.
The event included a high-energy live auction that kicked off with a generous donation by Ariat that set the tone for the evening. The contribution enabled victims of the fire to attend the benefit and experience firsthand the continued support of the community.
“We felt it was important to stand alongside Taylor Sheridan and his Four Sixes Ranch to support this benefit and the victims of the recent fires, many of whom have been part of the Ariat family for over three decades,“ said Susan Alcala, Ariat ‘s vice president, partnership marketing.
“The funds raised through the 6666 Smokehouse Creek and Windy Deuce Fire Relief Benefit will directly benefit ranchers and landowners in these rural communities,” said TSCRA President Carl Ray Polk Jr. “We are committed to helping these ranchers as long as it takes to help them rebuild and are exceptionally grateful for the support of Taylor Sheridan and Ryan Bingham, along with the partnerships and sponsors that are standing alongside us in this journey.”
Anyone interested in making a donation can still do so through the website. Ranchers impacted by these wildfires can apply for funding through TSCRA’s website.
