The 2014 Georgia Quarter Horse Association concluded on a very high note recording a whopping 3,900+ entries over the course of the four day event. Show management reports an increase in more than 700 AQHA entries over last year.
Charged with the tough task of determining the winners in a competitive field of horses were judges Brent Maxwell, Chad Evans, Brent Tincher, Clint Fullerton, Garth Gooding, and David Denniston.
Some of the largest youth and amateur classes during the show included a 20-entry L1 Youth Trail, 18-entry L1 Amateur Western Horsemanship, 18-entry L1 Youth Western Horsemanship, 18-entry L1 Youth Showmanship, 16-entry L1 Amateur Trail, 15-entry Amateur Western Pleasure, and a 15-entry Amateur Performance Halter Geldings.
The Open classes were just as large with a 30-entry L1 Trail class, 29-entry Senior Trail, 17-entry Senior Western Pleasure, 16-entry Ranch Horse Pleasure, and a 15-entry L1 Western Riding. Scroll below to check out the circuit champions in just a few of these large classes.
