2023 Pinto World Championship Entry Deadline Approaching

By the Pinto Horse Association of America:

April 25th, 2023, marks the entry deadline to avoid late fees for the 2023 Pinto World Championship, a 13-day show held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, June 12th-24th 2023.

Over 700 classes cater to all ages and levels, such as youth, amateurs, novice and open divisions. Our classes cater to all types of equines such as Stock Type, Hunter Type, Pleasure Type, Saddle Type, Miniatures and Ponies. Prizes including buckles, ribbons, chairs, rose garlands, and saddles are awarded to the World Champions, Reserve World Champions or high point winners. It’s a family-friendly environment with a taste of healthy competition. 2023 marks 58 years of the Pinto National show now known as the Pinto World Championship.

In addition to the hundreds of classes at the show, the futurities are not to be missed!  The WCHA Yellow Rose Futurity is a Pinto World Show tradition. Read more, written by the PtHA:

 

WCHA Yellow Rose “All Breed” Halter Futurity

The Yellow Rose Futurity is a WCHA sponsored futurity event that will be held within the 2023 Pinto World Championship Show, in Tulsa, OK. This event is an All-Breed Futurity, open to offspring with AQHA, APHA, Pinto, PHBA, ARHA, ABRA, or ApHC registry. Special Awards to horses registered with Pinto.

The Yellow Rose Futurity will feature 7 stakes classes for Non Professional Exhibitors:

  • Non Pro Yearling Mares
  • Non Pro Yearling Geldings
  • Non Pro Yearling Stallions
  • Non Pro 2 Year Old Mares
  • Non Pro 2 Year Old Geldings
  • Non Pro 3 Years and Over Mares
  • Non Pro 3 Years and Over Geldings

Entries must also be sired by stallions nominated into the Yellow Rose Futurity Program; stallion nominations are still open until June 18th with a nomination fee of only $250. Contact the stallion owner of your entry and work together to get their stallion enrolled !!! Open To ALL BREEDS !!!

Any youth or amateur exhibitor can compete as a Non Pro after purchasing a WCHA Membership. Non Pro Membership is $40, a Youth Membership is $25. A free subscription to the Equine Chronicle is included with each membership.
