COLUMBUS, OH – The Ohio Quarter Horse Association (OQHA) is excited to welcome Craig Reiter as manager of the highly-anticipated Congress Super Sale, held in conjunction with the All American Quarter Horse Congress at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio.
The 57th annual Congress Super Sale will be managed by Craig Reiter and will be comprised of three sale sessions – Yearlings, Performance, and Working and Ranch – all held on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
“We are pleased to partner with Craig to manage the Congress Super Sale this year,” said Dr. Scott Myers, CEO of OQHA. “The Congress Super Sale is a great way to connect buyers and sellers, and we look forward to continuing that longstanding tradition with three sessions in one great Congress Super Sale.”
Previously, the Congress hosted the Congress Super Sale and the Congress Ranch Horse Sale. Now, both sales will be held on one day, giving buyers a full catalog that represents the diversity of the Quarter Horse industry. This new format will attract high-quality horses and provide an outstanding atmosphere for buyers on the third Saturday of the world’s largest single-breed horse show.
“We are extremely excited to partner with OQHA to produce a new chapter in the successful history of the Congress Super Sale. The All American Quarter Horse Congress is the premier event to show and sell elite Quarter Horses, and its sales are proven resources for breeders and showmen alike,” says Reiter. “Our intent is to continue the successful legacy of these auctions, while adding a modern touch and new strategies to assist both buyers and sellers. With more than 30 years in the equestrian, cattle, and diversified auction industries, we will lean on our experiences and skills to create new opportunities for customers and new levels of success for this event.”
Nominations to the sale are due August 15, 2023. Forms and detailed information regarding consignment may be found at www.QHsupersale.com.
