AYA Directors represent the association to outside audiences, host local fundraisers and events promoting the AYA and plan and execute AYA activities at the World Championship Appaloosa Youth Show. They also meet frequently to discuss matters concerning the AYA. Directors represent members residing in their territory and zone and work to continuously improve the Appaloosa Youth Association.
Continue reading …On September 16th, 2011 at 8:30 AM, trainers Chris and Melissa Jones welcomed daughter, Lilly Ann, into their lives. Melissa admits that she waited a bit too long before heading to the hospital. “It was after midnight, and I kept telling Chris to drive faster, which just made him even more nervous,” she laughs. “We made it just in time. I had an easy delivery for the most part, except for almost missing my time window to have an epidural.

On Friday, in addition to AQHA pointed classes, there are also open classes where you don’t need to show a registered (or even un-registered) Quarter Horse in order to participate.
