The American Quarter Horse Association is excited to see AQHA members and horse enthusiasts from around the world at the 2022 AQHA Convention, February 25-28 at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas!

In addition to the important annual meetings being hosted, attendees can also participate in a variety of special events throughout convention!

Join AQHA at these exciting events at convention:

• Attend the Affiliates In Motion Rally.
• Honor the 2021 Merle Wood Humanitarian Award Recipient, Nancy Cahill, during the American Quarter Horse Foundation Meet & Greet.
• Visit with AQHA international members during the AQHA International Reception.
• Mix and mingle with fellow convention attendees at the AQHA President’s Reception, presented by the South Point Hotel & Casino.
• Learn more about the forward momentum the Association is making from the AQHA president, interim executive vice president and other leaders during the Membership General Meeting, brought to you by PulseVet.
• Join your fellow convention attendees at the AQHA Convention Reception.
• Sign-up for the wine tasting by emailing convention@aqha.org or at the registration booth.
• Attend the AQHYA Young Alumni Reception, sponsored by the North American Equine Ranching Information Council and Andreini and Company.
• Take part in the AQHA and Along for the Ride Reception, featuring a roundtable discussion with industry experts.
• Take action at the Political Action Committee Reception, sponsored by the North American Equine Ranching Information Council.
• Honor breeders who have shaped the industry during the AQHA Breeder Banquet, presented by Teton Ridge. Separate ticket required.

As a reminder, Along for the Ride is offering AQHA Convention registrants a ticket discount to attend the 2022 Excellence in Horsemanship Symposium in between convention meetings, receptions and special events. Convention registrants received a link via email to purchase one discounted ticket per convention registration. Be sure to claim your ticket by February 18 at 11:59 p.m. Central to receive the discounted rate. If you did not receive a link, email convention@aqha.org before the deadline.

Event Health Protocols

Before you attend convention, be sure to review the 2022 AQHA Convention health protocols. At this time, all occupancy and social-distancing restrictions have been lifted by the state of Nevada, and convention attendees will not be required to wear masks during convention.
