“Mare owners can buy breeding to 370 stallions before the end of January. BIDDING WILL CLOSE on 3 stallion service auctions between January 23rd and the 31st,” says Mike Jennings, of Professional Auction Services, LLC.  “These auctions feature breedings to top Halter and pleasure stallions registered with AQHA, APHA, ApHC and Color Breeds. Many World Champions and World Champion Sires are offered.”

APHA sponsors awards for up to 15 classes per show; selected events are at the discretion of show management. Awards include a Gist championship buckle and second- through sixth–place medallions for each class, valued at $3,500. Shows may offer additional Paint Horse Championship classes and purchase the additional awards for these classes from APHA.

2019 AQHA Level 1 Championship Eligibility Details and Schedules

The 2019 AQHA Central Level 1 Championships is April 10-13 at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City; the 2019 AQHA West Level 1 Championships returns April 17-20 to the South Point Equestrian & Events Center in Las Vegas; and the 2019 Nutrena East AQHA Level 1 Championships is May 1-5 at the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio. Exhibitors can compete at only one Level 1 Championships each year.
