2018 Memorial Day Circuit and Stanford Happening Coming to Mississippi, May 25-28

The Arkansas Quarter Horse Association presents the 2018 Memorial Day Circuit, featuring the 16th annual Stanford Happening! As always, there will be several classes open to ALL BREEDS!

The show is scheduled for May 25-28, 2018 in Tunica, Mississippi. The judges will be Brad Jewett, Richard Spinks, Jerry Erickson, and John Boxell. The show has one of the lowest all-inclusive fees in the area at only $250 per horse! Your stall, AQHA entry fees, and office and drug fees are included!

The show staff has planned a great show and is expecting everyone to come ready to win big. There is $3,000 in added money, 17 buckles, a saddle, and more up for grabs, as well as an exhibitor party on Saturday night.

Stanford classes are open to ALL BREEDS!

  • $500 added Open Ranch Riding- Buckle awarded to champion, reserve, and highest placing non-pro
  • $500 added Non-Pro Level 1 Horse and/or Rider Western Pleasure- Buckle awarded to champion and reserve
  • Level 1 11 and Over Walk-Trot- Saddle to champion and buckle to reserve
  • 10 and Under Walk-Trot- Money and random prizes to exhibitors

ArQHA would like to thank O3 Animal Health/Equine Omega Complete for sponsoring the beautiful Stanford Happening buckles for the eighth year. Buckles will be awarded in Stanford Happening classes as well as to the champions and reserve champions in the Youth, Amateur, and Select Western Pleasure on Saturday and the Level 1 Youth and Level 1 Amateur Ranch Riding on Sunday.

Returning for the third year is the Blind Horsemanship Challenge. This fun class is open to all non-pros and all breeds! Last year, exhibitors were paid back over $1,000, and there is $500 added, this year! Exhibitors are allowed a maximum of 60 seconds to look at the pattern before they turn around and try to complete it.

The AQHA Level 1 (Green) Western Pleasure will also have $500 added on Saturday.
