2016 WWPHC SCHEDULE RELEASED
NEW IN 2016: 2-JUDGE APHA/ASHA APPROVED RANCH HORSE EVENT
OPEN TO ALL APHA HORSES AND ASHA COMPETITION LICENSED HORSES
“We are excited to announce the addition of a 2-judge APHA/ASHA Approved Ranch Horse event this year,” reports Congress Chair Casey West. “The competition will take place on Saturday, July 30th, in the Mustang Arena and is open to any and all horses with an ASHA competition license.”
“We will continue to offer Ranch Riding, NSBA approved, within Congress two 4-judge PORs with these Ranch Riding classes taking place on Friday, July 29, under all eight Congress judges.”
The competition, judged under ASHA rules, offers a full slate of classes: Ranch Trail, Ranch Pleasure, Ranch Reining and Ranch Cow Work. Divisions include Green Horse, Open, Amateur, Ltd Non-Pro, Novice Amateur, Youth and Youth Walk Trot.
All exhibitors in ASHA events must be a member in good standing with the American Stock Horse Association and all horses must have an ASHA Horse Competition License in order to compete and the owner must be a member. Exhibitors may purchase a Horse Competition License and membership at the competition or online at www.americanstockhorse.org.
