2015 Buckeye Circuit Invests in the Next Generation With New Scholarships!

During the 2015 Buckeye Circuit, there will be many ways to support the younger generation, their passion for riding, and their educational pursuits—including the newly established Buckeye Classic Scholarship.

Small Fry: The Buckeye is proud to announce that OAQHA and BWHA will sponsor the enrollment fee for all small fry exhibitors at this year’s show into the NSBA Smart Points Scholarship Program. This program rewards youth members for their participation in NSBA and encourages them to become lifelong learners.

Youth Scholarships: Take a break from the horse show on Monday, July 20th and help raise money for the Ohio Quarter Horse Scholarship Fund at the Buckeye Open golf outing. Sign up as a single or put together a group and join in the fun. Registration deadline is July 15th.

The Buckeye Classic Scholarship: New this year, OAQHA and BWHA will be presenting a $1,000 scholarship to an exhibitor pursuing undergraduate or graduate education in Fall of 2015! Scholarship applications are due by 5pm on July 20th, and the recipient will be announced at the show on July 24th. All proceeds from The Buckeye Blitz 5k Fun Run/Walk on Tuesday, July 21 will help to fund this new scholarship. Don’t miss out on this fun run/walk for a great cause!
