They hailed from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland; the hometown crowd from Germany fielded the greatest number of horses. German Paints also claimed the greatest number of medals, taking home 37 golds, 25 silvers and 23 bronzes.

The FHMHS provides a time to reflect, a time to visit with old friends, a time to educate young people about the history of the equine industry and those who have supported it.
