2014 Tom Powers Futurity Stakes Sale, June 28th in Berrien Springs, Michigan
The 2014 Tom Powers Futurity Stakes Sale is scheduled to take place Saturday afternoon on June 28th in Berrien Springs, Michigan. As in the past, all sale horses must pass through the ring and will be microchipped to ensure identification for the following year.
The sale will be accepting no more than 100 premium yearlings that will then have the opportunity to show in 2015 as maiden two-year-olds for stakes money. The guaranteed purse for the 2014 class is $55,000. In addition, the Harris Challenge will provide $3,000 to the open winner and $1,000 to the limited winner, if the winners ride in a Harris saddle.
