2014 NRHA European Breeders Futurity Update

(Kreuth/Ramona Billing) After the second go round of the NRHA Breeders Futurity Bit Open and Non Pro, here are the finalists for Saturday at Kreuth. In the Open, the top 15 plus ties made it to the final; in the Non Pro, the top 12 plus ties will return. In the Open and Ltd. Open go round, Francesco Martinotti took the lead aboard Stefano Ronco’s Mcsurprisemesailor (Frozen Sailor x MRH Doctor N Lynx, 435), with Alex Ripper and Hans Peter Marquardt’s Guntinis Great Chex placing second (432.5).
Francesco Martinotti and Mcsurprisesailor, who were 2014 ARHA Futurity and APCR Futurity Open finalists, had the best run of the first go round scoring a 218.5 with Volker Schmitt and Spark N Step (Wimpys Little Step x Spark N Pretty, owner Claudia Klucsarits) following on second place (217.5).
Dominik Reminder rides to high score in second go round Bit Open Futurity
Scoring a 220, Dominik Reminder and RS Cuba Libre Jac won the second go round of the Breeders Futurity Bit Open and Limited Open. NRHA European Futurity finalist, RS Cuba Libre Jac, is by RS Great Jac Feona out of RS Red Moon Olena and is owned by Luga QH. Alex Ripper and Guntinis Great Chex (The Great Guntini x Chexymatic), owned by Hans-Peter Marquardt, followed in second place scoring a 218.5.

Claudio Risso and Ewald Rifeser dominate Non Pro go rounds
In the Non Pro Bit, multiple NRHA Breeders Futurity Champion Non Pro Claudio Risso took the lead aboard his RS Cosmopolitan Lena scoring a total of 423.5. With this mare by Spat Olena out of RS Foxy Jacs, past NRHA World Champion Non Pro Claudio Risso was 2013 IRHA Futurity Res. Champion Non Pro.
Ewald Rifeser and Wimpys Lil Shiner (Wimpys Little Step x Sassys Shine) placed second in total ranking scoring a 422. The two had had the best run of the second go with Roger Winkler and Guns Glamor Chex (Nu Chex To Cash x CR Guns Fancy) following (212.5). Wimpys Lil Shiner was 6th at the 2014 NRHA European Futurity and ARTA Maturity Non Pro Champion.
The SBH finals are scheduled for Friday afternoon and evening and the Bit finals will be Saturday afternoon and evening. There will be a livescore on www.nrha.de.
