The Minnesota Amateur Quarter Horse Association’s Corporate Challenge is underway in St. Paul, MN. and is seeing a steady entry flow, in the double digits for many classes.
“We’re right at about 300 stalls,” says Show Manager Jay Thesing. “Class sizes are staying good. We had 29 in the Novice Amateur Level 1 Showmanship, 20 in the Amateur Showmanship, and 26 in Horsemanship.”
Over $15,000 in prizes and awards will be presented at the show, including special, daily fun drawings. Each day, a back number will be drawn at random. The person owning the horse associated with that back number will receive a prize.
Competitors will have plenty of room to practice at the show this year thanks to two, new indoor riding arenas sized 90 x 200 and 90 x 180. With a beautiful forecast of 75 degrees and blue skies, this looks to be just the beginning of a great event.
Judges for the show are Tom Robertson, Suzy Jeane, Rick Christy, John Briggs, Leslie Lange, and Larry Little.
